About The Author

Wayne Cesaro
I’ve lived a life on the move, at sea, in classrooms, in kitchens, and in front of the computer screen. My story began in Washington State, where I worked in the renowned restaurants along Chuckanut Drive before joining the Navy. There, I quickly advanced to E-6 and began a lifelong connection with the sea. After leaving the service, I continued sailing as a civilian mariner, working my way up from Able Seaman to Master and traveling the world.
When I eventually came ashore, I turned my experience into teaching. I built a maritime program for Seattle Public Schools and later taught IT and Management Information Systems at Seattle Colleges and City University. Along the way, I earned nearly every Microsoft, Novell, and Citrix certification available, ran my own tech business, and spent years working in high-tech leadership.
My passions have always extended beyond work. I’ve practiced martial arts around the world, in Japan, Hawaii, Okinawa, Guam, and the mainland U.S., and at age 70 became a WITS-Certified Personal Trainer, helping seniors stay strong and independent. Archeology has also been a lifelong fascination. I’ve visited ancient sites across the globe, with Turkey holding a special place in my heart.
Life hasn’t been without challenges. My late wife, Catherine, lived with MS for two decades, and I cared for her throughout her illness. That experience shaped my perspective on resilience, love, and what it means to show up for someone you care about.
Today, I split my time between writing, creating content, and enjoying life on my property with my loyal terrier. I share my thoughts and projects on Facebook and YouTube at sp @‌AuthorWayneCesaro. Whether through books, videos, or conversations, I hope to offer stories and insights drawn from a lifetime of adventure, learning, and perseverance.
